Privacy policy

Learning data stays on your device

Favorites, reading progress, review schedules, script choice, appearance, speech speed, reminder settings, and the locally saved Pro status are stored on your device. We do not receive this information. Search is performed locally against bundled lessons. The app does not record your voice or access your microphone, contacts, photos, or location.

Purchases are handled by Apple

Apple processes the optional one-time Pro purchase. The app uses StoreKit to check your entitlement and restore purchases. We do not receive your payment details or Apple Account credentials, and the app does not send receipts or transaction information to a developer-operated server. Apple's services are governed by Apple's privacy policy.

Speech, reminders, and widgets

Pronunciation uses the speech voices available on your device; offline availability varies. Reminders are optional local notifications, scheduled only after you allow notification access. The app does not register for a remote push token. Home Screen widgets share lesson text, script choice, and access status with the app through an on-device App Group. This data is not sent to us.

Your choices and deletion

You can remove favorites, change preferences, or turn reminders off in Settings. You can also disable notification access in iPhone Settings and remove widgets from your Home Screen. Deleting the app removes its local learning record; there is no developer-held account or cloud record to delete. Device backups and restores are controlled by your Apple settings and may retain or restore local app data. Deleting the app does not cancel or refund the permanent App Store purchase, which can be restored using the same Apple Account.

Links and support

Opening a source or support link takes you to an external service governed by its own privacy policy. If you choose to email support, your email address and anything you include are received by the support operator and their email provider. Please avoid sending payment details or other sensitive information. Support correspondence is used to answer your request, is not used for advertising, and is deleted when it is no longer needed to resolve or maintain the request, unless retention is required by law.

Changes to this policy

If the app's data practices change, this policy and the App Store privacy information will be updated. The date above identifies this policy version.

These support pages are hosted by Cloudflare. We do not add analytics, advertising, or tracking scripts. Cloudflare processes network requests, including IP addresses, to deliver and protect the site under its privacy policy. This website information is separate from the app’s on-device learning data.
